It’s March 2020. Oculus realizes its current campaign is no longer appropriate given a global pandemic. What’s the pivot?

As we adjusted to life indoors, people were feeling restless; running out of things to do. Our insight? Oculus provides a whole world of experiences to enjoy from the comfort and safety of your livings rooms. Made possible #OnlyInVR.

 

LAUNCH FILM

The campaign kicked off with a film where each line represented a different title/game to showcase the array of experiences. Inspired by the feeling of home and the warmth it provides, this was one of the first times the brand allowed color in its palette. This was the first step towards a new Oculus identity that humanized the brand.
